Our target

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. This statement describes where we stand on 16 October 2026.

What we have done

  • Every page works with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline and a “Skip to main content” link.
  • Headings, landmarks and the current page in the navigation are marked up for screen readers.
  • Text and interface colours meet the AA contrast ratios (4.5:1 for text, 3:1 for large text and controls).
  • The site reflows down to a 320 pixel width and works at 200% zoom without horizontal scrolling.
  • Buttons and links have a target size of at least 24 × 24 pixels.
  • Forms have visible labels, list any errors in a summary, mark the fields to fix, and keep what you typed.
  • Animations are switched off if your system asks for reduced motion, and nothing flashes.
  • The language of each page is declared and changes with the language switch; phrases in another language are marked.
  • Images that carry meaning have text alternatives, and every chart comes with a data table.
  • The virtual tour and the event filters work with buttons and arrow keys, not only with a mouse or dragging.

Known limitations

  • The French and Macedonian texts have not yet been proofread by a professional translator.
  • Photographs come from third-party libraries. Their text alternatives describe the scene but are not exhaustive.
  • The optional interactive map (OpenStreetMap) is a third-party component and is not fully accessible. The address and an external map link are given as an alternative.
  • We have not tested every combination of browser and assistive technology.

How we checked

We tested every page, in all three languages and at widths from 320 to 1280 pixels, with an automated checker (axe-core), and tested keyboard use of the menu, forms, FAQ and virtual tour with scripted browser tests. We have not yet tested with screen readers. This is a self-assessment, not an independent audit.
